Can I Wear Jeans (at Church?).com
Hey folks, this entry's a twofer - lucky you!
In going along with the latest Question of the Day, can you wear jeans to your church? The stance on whether or not you can wear jeans (or any other casual attire) to church seems to be a big deal to some people, and I'll admit, I'm one of them. Personally, I like a church that accepts people "as is," although I understand why some people want to dress up for church out of respect, similar to how they might dress for business. So how do you feel about wearing jeans at church? Is it disrespectful or awesome?
Here's the second part:
The dude behind Stuff Christians Like has created another website called CanIWearJeans.com. It's meant to be a place where anyone and everyone can either post information about their church or find information if they're looking for a new church. What makes this site awesome is that it isn't just another directory of listings and addresses. You are invited to share details about the worship style, kids' programs, style/length of sermons, and of course - if you can wear jeans or not
. Check out the site to find out more about how/why this started and what to do to post your church's information (it's very simple).

i saw that website! It's actually a pretty good idea because, since I know I can wear jeans at my church, most people dress up a bit more to go to our services
I wear jeans on Sunday night and Wednesday night, but for Sunday morning, its either a skirt or black pants or khakis. I don't particulary like it, but I know its a big deal for some of the older people, so I don't wear them out of respect for them,
